Pre-Cytotechnology & Cell Sciences Pathway Overview
In the Accelerated BS in Health Sciences — Pre-Cytotechnology & Cell Sciences Pathway, students will complete all prerequisite coursework needed to be successful in upper-division courses of the BS in Cytotechnology & Cell Sciences at the Center City campus.
Jefferson's BS in Cytotechnology & Cell Sciences prepares students for careers in diagnostic cytology and practice in a variety of laboratory settings. Students will develop knowledge and skill sets pertaining to cytology specimen screening and diagnostic interpretation, basic laboratory techniques, laboratory operations and management and application of companion technologies such as molecular testing.
