Spine Fellowship

This is a one-year spine fellowship at Rothman Orthopaedics at Jefferson Health. The surgical experience at our institution includes more than 1,500 cases. The Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center of Delaware Valley is centered at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and approximately 250 inpatients with spinal fractures are treated each year.

More than 100 operative cases of adolescent and adult spinal deformity form a second facet of the fellowship experience. More than 1,000 cases of degenerative disorders, including herniated disk, instability, stenosis, and spondylolisthesis of the cervical and lumbar spine are treated annually.

The fellows participate in operative cases, office hours, and basic and clinical science research. Application requests can be obtained by contacting Kelly Quici, Program Administrator.

Accreditation: This fellowship is not ACGME accredited and participates in the San Francisco match program.
