Beginning June 27, 2023, all DEA practitioners will be required to check a box on their DEA registration application or renewal form confirming that they have satisfied the new, one-time, training requirement. This requirement is an 8 hour, comprehensive curriculum related to substance use disorders.

All SKMC graduates, since 2018, have successfully completed an 8+ hour comprehensive curriculum that meets this requirement.
