We encourage you to apply for financial aid, regardless of family financial circumstances. Our Financial Aid Office works diligently to identify scholarships, work-study and loan opportunities in order to make a Jefferson education within reach.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

We encourage all eligible students to apply for financial aid, regardless of financial circumstances. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be accessed at studentaid.gov. More than 94% of our students receive aid in the form of grants, loans, work-study and/or scholarships.

Jefferson Academic Scholarships

First-year students who apply by the March 1 Regular Decision application deadline receive priority consideration for academic scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are awarded as part of a student's offer of admission.

Discount Programs

  • Dependents (spouse and qualifying children/relatives) of Jefferson & LVHN employees will receive a 50% tuition discount for a variety of Thomas Jefferson University undergraduate degree programs.
  • Through our Community College Educational Alliance Program, we are committed to providing reduced tuition and collaborative initiatives aimed at fostering career advancement and lifelong learning for staff, faculty, members of the board of trustees and their immediate family members, and alumni.
