Areas of Concentration
We individually tailor “Areas of Concentration (AoC),” longitudinal experiential curricula for senior residents, to further explore their diverse interests in areas such as:
- Reproductive Health
- Maternal Child Health
- LGBTQ Primary Care
- Community Health and Underserved Medicine
- Immigrant and Refugee Health
- Sports Medicine
- HIV Primary Care
- Geriatrics
- Palliative Care
- Integrative Medicine
- Hospital Medicine
- Latin Health
- And more!
Residents meet with dedicated advisors quarterly, deliver lectures related to their AoC, and are encouraged to produce a scholarly product, publication or presentation to further develop their area of expertise. The AoC is a rich opportunity for residents to more deeply explore areas of clinical interest and potential future career development paths.
