The Jefferson College of Population Health's (JCPH) Master of Public Health (MPH) program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). CEPH is a nationally recognized accrediting agency that works to assess and evaluate the quality of our public health curriculum.
The multi-step accreditation process includes the development of a DRAFT Self-Study, a site visit by a CEPH accreditation team and a review by the CEPH Board of Councilors. The Self-Study is organized into four sections: (1) The Public Health Program; (2) Instructional Programs; (3) Creation, Application and Advancement of Knowledge; and (4) Faculty, Staff and Students. In October 2016, the CEPH Board of Councilors announced that JCPH's MPH program was reaccredited for 7 years, the maximum designation. The MPH program is now accredited until December 31, 2024. View the Accreditation Report from CEPH (PDF).
