Application Process
The Jefferson Emergency Medicine Residency Program participates in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Application requirements include:
- Enrollment in or graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 examination or the COMLEX examination
- At least two letters of recommendation, with strong preference that one be from an emergency medicine faculty member (SLOE preferred)
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Dean’s Letter
- Medical School Transcript
Interviews are offered on a rolling basis beginning in late October. We will be interviewing from mid-November through early February. We encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible. If you have not heard from us, please feel free to contact us regarding your application status.
