• O-1 status can be granted for up to three years, extendable indefinitely in one-year increments.
• Employment under O-1 status is tied to the sponsoring employer; the employee may only work for the O-1 sponsor*
• Dependents, including spouses and unmarried children under 21, can accompany the O-1 visa holder.
