Students experiencing a psychiatric emergency should call 911, Campus Security (On Campus: 811 or Off Campus: 215-955-8888), or go directly to the nearest emergency room. Students on campus should go to the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Emergency Room, located in the Main Hospital Building at 10th and Sansom Streets.
Jefferson faculty and staff who have an urgent concern about a student may contact the SCC Director, Dr. Deanna Nobleza, directly by calling 215-503-2817 and then dialing "1" and then "0". Alternatively, the SCC On-Call Pager is 877-656-7287. Jefferson faculty and staff with non-urgent concerns about a student should call 215-503-2817 and leave a confidential voicemail with their name, contact information, and best times to call back. A SCC counselor will contact you as soon as possible.
