Resident Perks
- Collegial atmosphere among residents and attending staff
- Travel Sponsorship for up to three days and two nights to any radiology meeting at which a resident is presenting an abstract or paper
- Residents go to AIRP for four weeks; tuition paid by the department and housing reimbursed up to $1,500
- Each resident receives a discretionary education fund with $2,500 to be used over the course of their residency
- Five dedicated hours of noon conferences each week
- Digital library of all didactic radiology lectures given to residents. Lectures are recorded and then available for review by residents on their own time.
- Four weeks of vacation each year which can be taken in blocks from one day to two weeks at a time
- Six-eight months of elective time in the 4th year
- "Senior Specialization" in which 4th-year residents are able to participate in subspecialty clinical rotations and research in a similar capacity to fellows
