Changing Catalog Year

In connection with substantive changes in University curricula, there may be rare occasions in which students are requested to change their catalog year to gain the learning advantages offered by the new curricula.  Changes in catalog year are only progressive, meaning that catalog year changes may only advance to the latest or most recent year’s curricula. No students or programs may request that a catalog year be changed regressively, i.e. moving back to the curricula of previous year or years.

Students who transfer to a new major or are returning from a leave of absence may be subjected to the catalog year in place at the time of the change of major.
